No team took more points from their games in September than Chelsea, with Enzo Maresca beginning to feel at home at Stamford Bridge after a tough start. It's not been the most intimidating fixture list but the improvement was still clear to see in wins over Bournemouth, West Ham and Brighton after starting the month with a home draw with Palace.
Arne Slot is no longer unbeaten as Liverpool manager after a defeat to Nottingham Forest, but his Reds side are still top of the Premier League after a largely positive month. That loss was a surprising one after they ventured into the international break off the back of a 3-0 win at Man Utd, but the Merseysiders have since bounced back by easing past Bournemouth and Wolves.
It was another period of improvement for Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta's dark arts at the heart of their win at Tottenham and draw with Man City, the latter of which was so nearly a brave victory after holding on for almost all of the second half.
Marco Silva's Fulham managed to bring an end to the unbeaten starts of Newcastle and Forest, with Emile Smith Rowe and Raul Jimenez enjoying themselves in the final third. The Cottagers are now sixth and haven't lost since the opening weekend of the campaign.
Rounding off the shortlist is Unai Emery. Everything is going swimmingly for the Villans, who triumphantly beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League, with some dramatic late goals helping them pick up seven points from three fixtures.
